Dark Arts Whiskey House presents the ‘Sherry Garcia’ 7.5 Year Small Batch Bourbon, a unique expression crafted with care and precision. Distilled in Indiana and re-barreled in Oloroso sherry wine casks before being blended and bottled in Lexington, KY, this bourbon combines tradition with an artful finish. The mash bill consists of 60% corn, 36% rye, and 4% malted barley, delivering a bold and balanced profile. Bottled at 113.76 proof, only 3,244 bottles were produced, making this an exclusive offering.
On the nose, the bourbon greets you with aromas of dried fruits, particularly raisins and figs, enhanced by the nutty character of the Oloroso sherry. Hints of toasted oak and dark chocolate emerge, with delicate notes of orange zest and warming spices adding complexity. The palate opens with rich caramel and vanilla, blending effortlessly with the dried fruit and nutty nuances from the sherry cask. Midway through, the spice unfolds with cinnamon and nutmeg, underpinned by the comforting warmth of toasted oak and a touch of dark cocoa.
